After a day spent discussing San Jose’s potential to become the 21st century city, it was time for music and drinks on the first day of C2SV. Attendees explored architecture and design firms in San Jose’s SoFA District before heading to The Ritz, Cafe Stritch, BackBar SoFa and MACLA for a cocktails and a variety of live performances. Cafe Stritch was packed for two energetic sets by two fantastic local acts—the EDM-tinged alt-rock quartet Citabria and the new-school cumbia sounds of Corazon Salvaje.
Over at The Ritz, local up-and-coming DJ-production duo Wooshay got the crowd warmed up for house music pioneer Donald Glaude.
