Felipe Esparza has been on the comedy scene for nearly three decades, but he’s not showing any signs of slowing down. The Mexican-born standup first performed in 1994, following a stint in drug rehab; now, he’s selling out shows nationally, and will perform his latest for a six-show run at San Jose’s Improv this weekend. After winning Last Comic Standing in 2010, Esparza has gone on to have three comedy specials, find guest appearances in a variety of TV shows and films, and find a seat near another legendary comedic voice Eric Andre as the comedian’s co-co-host for The Eric Andre Show.
