For comedy fans the world over, Russell Peters is a hard act to miss. Luckily for Bay Area locals, the Canadian stand-up is headlining seven shows at the San Jose Improv this weekend, with tickets remaining for just two shows. With over 34 years of experience, Peters has toured around the globe, getting his feet wet early on with the help of comedy legend George Carlin. In the time since, Peters has been the first comedian to sell out Toronto’s Air Canada Centre (2007), the first comedian to create a Netflix Original Comedy Special (2013), and most recently was named one of Rolling Stone’s 50 Best Comics of All Time.
