Cool Yule is a festive tradition showcasing top SJSU music majors as they jazz up the holiday classics. With direction from Grammy Award-winning baritone saxophonist Dr. Aaron Lington (recognized as a Silicon Valley Artist Laureate), the orchestra will breeze through a cool and jazzy celebration after the Leigh ’Lil Band from Leigh High School (directed by Alexander Christensen) kicks off the night as a special treat. Prepare for an unforgettable evening of Yuletide cheer and sensational jazz. The holiday extravaganza is sponsored by the College of Humanities and the Arts Artistic Excellence Programming Grant.
