For nearly 40 years, Edgardo Cambon and Candela have introduced salsa music to the masses, making them California’s premier salsa orchestra. Depending on what their shows call for, the band either performs in a smaller platoon or unleashes their full sound using bass, trombone, piano, guitar, sax, flute, conga drums and timbales in a manner that maintains the integrity of the salsa genre. Known simply as Candela to those in the know, the band gets the hips swinging and the ears listening. They’ll support Domingo Sabroso, another favorite salsa musician from the area.
