The Los Gatos Art Association presents its sixth iteration of the juried fine art exhibition, Greater Bay Area Open. This biennial show showcases selected artworks from 12 Bay Area counties, spanning from Sonoma to Monterey. This year’s theme, Breaking Through, encouraged artists to submit works born from a moment of realization; the moment one encountered a perspective shift, a new mentor, or pushed through a personal challenge. However quiet or grand, the singular breakthrough opened a fresh channel of inspiration that propelled the artist forward. Following this free reception, the show runs for two months through October 4.
