The Daily Show alumnus and stand-up comic who rocked Netflix with the Peabody Award–winning comedy news program Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj comes to San Jose for three performances of his new one-man show, The King’s Jester. With the Friday and early Saturday shows already sold out, it appears Minhaj’s birth state of California is psyched to support the Homecoming King’s latest North American tour. Known for his personal material on South Asian American culture as well as wry political commentary, Minhaj deals with his feelings on fame, fatherhood and more in his newest work.
