Detroit-based rapper BabyTron is coming to the Ritz this weekend to turn the place out. In 2019, BabyTron took the hip hop world by storm with his mixtape Bin Reaper 2 and his hit song “Jesus Shuttlesworth.” In 2022, he was included in the XXL’s Freshman Class, a high honor in the hip hop world and a massive feat for any artist so early in their career. Recent single “100 Bars,” on the other hand, sees BabyTron dropping a hip hop flip on “99 Bottles of Beer.” Known for his witty punchlines, playful sense of humor and sneaky lyrical ability—all paired with some great beats—this is one baby for the books.
