Imua Hawaii at Frost Amphitheater

This weekend at the Frost, three native artists present their contributions to the ongoing movement of island music. The Imua Hawaii Music Festival presents ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro, storytelling songwriter John Cruz and reggae artist Anuhea. Shimabukuro’s outstanding versatility on the ukulele has attracted music giants of all genres to record on his latest album Jake & Friends (2021). Over 25 years since his Acoustic Soul album became one of the best-selling Hawaiian records of all time, Cruz arrives with a new EP titled He Mana’o, meanwhile Anuhea brings fresh air to every style she sings–true to her name.
