For 11 years, the SoFA Street Fair has brought the best and brightest of San Jose’s creatives into the public spotlight, and there are no signs of slowing down. First Street transforms into a walking tour of great local art, music and culture twice a year. Besides the impressive 80–100 bands performing live, a litany of booths are open and selling everything from handmade art to tasty food, as well as several fun games and other unexpected activities. Seeking to capture the rhythm and spirit of San Jose, the SoFa Street Fair gives guests a taste of the kind of magic that the South Bay can summon when it’s allowed to shine.
