I am a long-term customer of the infamous green-logoed coffee store. On many occasions, I have been appalled by you, the supposed manager of a West Valley location. You are like the Cheshire cat, being friendly to the customers, but then you turn around and berate and belittle your staff like I have not seen at any other of the shops in your chain. I have seen you make the baristas, mostly women, cry. But the way you treated one particularly elderly staffer was the last straw for me. She is one of your fastest, most pleasant workers. But you came over while she was taking orders and reprimand her again, screaming in front of everyone, “Remember to greet your customers!” She had been! You just wanted something to scream at her for. She was clearly embarrassed yet she bravely kept her composure. The company may have closed for the recent training that we all had to hear about, but it appears as if they failed, again, to include any sort of manager training.
