When life gets dull and every day seems to be a repeat of the last, there’s nothing like a strong dose of art to jolt the system and stimulate the mind. When life becomes particularly heavy, it takes more than a jolt; it needs a full-on playpen. Enter John & Jen’s Playpen Art Show, an extravaganza of art, music, food and fun, including live music from Lisa Dewey and Keith St. Thomas, with Dear Radio and Dave Baisa. Along with free parking, the show will feature grilled cheese and beer, games and prizes, an estate sale and even—as advertised on the flyer—a “weird person in the corner.” That alone is worth the $20 admission.
