In a time when the nostalgia wheel has come back around on funk, R&B and soul music, John Nemeth is doing his part to keep classic blues present in the mix. Having toured with the genre’s greats since his youth, Nemeth has long been a master of his craft, as evidenced by his nine Blues Music Awards nods. From 2002’s The Jack of Harps to 2020’s Stronger Than Strong, his compelling discography features plenty of high-energy blues with tasteful blends of funk and soul mixed in.
