After sold-out dates worldwide, including his January show at SAP center, Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 Experience World Tour is expanding with an encore performance January in San Jose.
Luckily for those fans who couldn’t get tickets (and don’t want to pay exorbitant scalpers’ prices), it was just announced today that Timberlake is adding another San Jose show for August 11 of next year.
In an age of increasingly fragmented popular culture, Timberlake stands out as an almost universally adored figure. Both parts of his recent 20/20 Experience double album went platinum (the first part double platinum), plus he was just named GQ’s Man of the Year for 2013. This on top of his performing at the White House, hosting Saturday Night Live for the fifth time, starring in the Ben Affleck-directed film Runner Runner (with another upcoming role in the Coen Brother’s Inside Llewyn Davis), and his string of viral videos with buddy Jimmy Fallon. He can sing, dance, act and go viral (the 21st century’s quadruple threat?).
Pre-sale tickets for the August show are available to members of Timberlake’s fan club starting November 13th at 10am. Tickets go on sale to the general public November 18th at 10am.
