Actor, producer, writer, director, filmmaker…Marlon Wayans is unstoppable. Internationally grossing over $1 billion in box offices worldwide, the White Chicks and Scary Movie actor solidified his name in comedy in the early aughts and sells out theaters weekly. Wayans recently starred alongside Jennifer Hudson in the critically acclaimed Aretha Franklin biopic Respect and reached a new milestone with his debut comedy special on Netflix, Woke-ish. The funny man has reportedly wrapped production on an upcoming Halloween film for the streaming juggernaut, which he co-produced and will be starring in. Wayans brings five sets to the San Jose Improv from Thursday through Sunday.
