Ozomatli has been through a lot of change over the course of their almost 30 year long run, but the core of what they do has remained the same and kept audiences captivated. On any given day you could hear them playing hip-hop, classic salsa, reggae, Jack Johnson folk collaborations, or classic rock pentatonic riffs. What’s crazy is how it all sounds very much like Ozomatli and carries with it their time tested brand of political activism. They’ve been on a tear of releasing charged singles that are sure to fill a lively set this Friday.
