PULLING STRING: Harpist Anna Maria Mendieta is a guest soloist with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra for its season opener, ‘Concerto I,’ on Oct 6 at Le Petit Trianon in San Jose. Mendieta will join the orchestra for the premiere of Christopher Pratorius’ ‘Claroscuro en Flor,’ which was co-commissioned by the American Harp Society. The concert also includes the premiere of Kerry Lewis’ ‘Vida es Arte, with flutist Teresa Orozco as soloist.
