.“Tina: The Tina Turner Musical” in San Jose

This week, the CPA is asking “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” Opening Aug. 29 for an eight-show run, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical comes to San Jose, featuring a tribute to the world-famous singer with all the glitz and glamor she deserves. The musical—written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Katori Hall and directed by Phyllida Lloyd—tells the story of Turner’s powerful music, her resilience and inspiring nature throughout her career. The legendary Turner, who died earlier this year, won 12 Grammys in the course of her time at the microphone, and her live shows have been inspiring to millions of fans.
