Inspired by comedy institution Saturday Night Live, this annual political sketch fest and fundraiser for San Jose Stage Company (the second largest professional theater in Silicon Valley) features a cocktail reception, followed by comedy skits, songs and a live band that spoofs local politics. Hosted by councilmember Michael Mulcahy, this year’s lineup includes San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan and San Jose Vice Mayor Pam Foley, as well as councilmembers Domingo Candelas and George Casey, and Michael Van Every, president and CEO of Republic Urban Properties.
