Punk band The Dollyrots have played alongside some of the most popular alternative outfits in the world, but their story starts earlier. Bassist/lead vocalist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas first met in eighth grade, after which they both attended the New College of Florida together and played in bands. After becoming disillusioned with the 2000 United States Presidential Election, Ogden and Cabezas formed The Dollyrots, a punk rock act with a knack for catchy, infectious tunes. Case in point: their songs have been featured in dozens of television shows, movies and commercials.
