Few comedians have as storied and diverse a career as Eddie Griffin. Beginning his stand-up career on a bet, Griffin went from nobody to pro in short order, eventually earning himself a spot on Comedy Central’s 100 Greatest Stand Ups of All Time series. Along the way, he’s survived the apocalypse (Armageddon) and the sitcom ( Malcom & Eddie), aliens (Coneheads) corrupt politicians (The Last Boy Scout) and even Rob Schneider (Deuce Bigelow). In 2019, he released his third stand-up special on Showtime, but this weekend he calls San Jose home.
