Their perfect looks and happily-ever-after trajectories set some seriously unrealistic standards, but the good news is even a tale as old as time can be rewritten. Dennis T. Giacino’s Disenchanted! The Princess Parody Musical adapts the stories of Snow White, Pocahontas, Cinderella and the rest of the crew for the modern age, celebrating the diversity of these iconic heroines and excavating their rebellious spirits from narratives that all too often rendered them victims in need of a prince.
