Max Amini is an improv maestro who is as comfortable cracking a joke about an audience member he just met as he is delivering a well-rehearsed bit. As the son of Iranian immigrants, Amini’s comedic stomping grounds tend to be family, dating and relationships, but he is also known to philosophize about the ways of Persian men. His raunchy skit “Dodool Tala” from his 2013 “Mother’s Day to the Max” tour remains a crowd favorite. With his sharp wit and observational humor, Amini can find something funny in almost any room.
