Ockham is among those fighting the good fight to keep classic indie rock alive as a bass, drums and clean, jangly guitar foursome supporting a strong, melodic vocalist. They can be seen and heard on Friday when they’ll be joined by the delightful girlie dream pop outfit mayday mae! and keeping it Bay Area indie, Mommy Mommy. All three bands feature women on the microphone and quite a few of the instruments as well, which is refreshing and cool.
