In this coming-of-age-of-sorts drama, Kenneth, a 38-year-old bookstore clerk who enjoys his Mai tais at the local dive bar, deals with the harsh reality of life when he loses his beloved and easy going job. Now dealing with unemployment and all the worries that go along with it, Kenneth must face his life and all of the adult struggles and worries he’s evaded for most of his life. Along the way he meets friends who open his eyes to his own solitude and expose the vibrant colors of a life he never knew. Directed by Jeffrey Lo, this 2024 Pulitzer Prize winner for Drama opens on Wednesday and plays through March 29th with multiple showings.
