The Academy Award-nominated film, Sinners, was steeped in the feel and sound of the Mississippi Delta. This was due in part to Hall of Fame, 92-year-old blues legend, Bobby Rush. When the character Delta Slim blows a harmonica in a train station, that’s Rush providing the breaths. Winning the Blues Music Award sixteen times is extraordinary, but it’s in person that Rush truly blows people away. Backed up on this tour by the North Mississippi Allstars, Rush has everything he needs to provide a monumental, authentic rendering of the music that is the backbone of American rock and roll, jazz, R&B and even country.
