Bo Johnson has no edges, and in these turbulent times, where it’s difficult to grab onto anything safe, Johnson is a comfortable life-preserver to float on for an hour. Comedy flows from Johnson like he’s family, like that cousin who is autistic (Johnson does identify as autistic) but is also the funniest person in the room. Johnson’s credits are extensive, performing at comedy festivals around the world and whose comedy specials are available on Hulu, Comedy Central and Don’t Tell Comedy, and who also has toured with Marc Maron. But it’s in person that Johnson’s down-home style is most engaging. Unique, quirky and unapologetic.
