The California Standard applies to many things. California’s known for the best burritos in the country (and the best Mexican food in the states, for that matter), the best cannabis and that golden California sun. Maybe that’s why the jam rock quartet from the Bay named themselves the California Standard. Or perhaps it’s because they hold themselves to a different standard than others. Ultimately, what matters is that these guys write lighthearted songs for anyone from Deadheads to fans of Coldplay and Saint Motel. Opening the show are San Franciscan Gavi Silverman and space rockers Orbit 17.
