Ke Huy Quan has lived an incredible life. After escaping Communist Northern Vietnam, his family settled in Los Angeles’s Chinatown. On a whim, he attended an open call audition. This audition swept the then 12-year-old Ke Huy Quan into the world of filmmaking. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and The Goonies launched his career. Everyone, including himself, was excited to see what he would do next. Unfortunately, he struggled to get roles so he pivoted to directing. That was until the indie film Everything Everywhere All at Once brought him back to performing on the big screen. He highlights these events and more in his heart-warming and heart-wrenching memoir Never Say Die.
