The former Silicon Valley engineer turns charts, graphs and Venn diagrams into punchlines, applying technical precision to everyday absurdities. His latest show, “Don McMillan 2.0: Now Powered by AI,” tackles the prospect of artificial intelligence replacing comedians, an especially appropriate concern for a San Jose crowd. The San Francisco International Comedy Competition winner and America’s Got Talent alum brings clean material and an engineer’s affection for finding flaws in the system. For once, the presentation is supposed to be a joke.
