Edge of Silence in Santa Clara

Triton Museum presents a solo exhibition of mixed media artwork influenced by 1960s London, when the explosion of fashion and music collided with art and design. In artist Jacqueline Boberg’s own words, “I have a simple aim—to create dynamic, vibrant works that jump on and off the wall.” After years of exploration with watercolor, pastel, oil, and acrylic, Boberg spent a decade working with abstract mixed media. She now merges landscapes and still lifes with contemporary experimentation. Inspired by a slant of light, or a shift in color, she manipulates her materials to reflect a fleeting moment of sheer energy. Goes until April 19.
