Based on the classic Victor Hugo novel, Les Misérables, winner of eight Tony Awards and numerous other accolades, returns to San Jose. Since its 1980 debut in Paris, the acclaimed work with music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel has taken its place as the second-longest-running musical in the world. A 2012 film adaptation helped keep Les Mis in the public eye, and the all-singing stage show continues to enthrall and delight audiences around the globe. In addition to the above-listed performances, matinees are scheduled on Thursday and Sunday at 1pm, and Saturday at 2pm.
