For over 40 years, Rebecca Solnit has used her voice on the streets through direct action, along with on paper as a journalist and commentator. Her work has appeared in The Guardian and Harper’s Magazine, and her current online commentary is some of the sharpest, cutting through the propaganda spewed by the current administration. In her newest book, The Beginning Comes After the End, she discusses how, despite there seeming to be no light in these dark times, this is but the dying gasp of an archaic system that will be dismantled by current and future generations.
