With Summer Fest on the horizon, San Jose Jazz has been making plenty of moves lately, and this performance by San Jose’s Miss Hits at the Gordon Biersch Night Market is no exception. Miss Hits started when a group of savvy jazz students at SJSU got together to jam. Now, they’re a fully-formed band that will be bringing their soulful but funky, melodic but rhythmic sound to the Night Market. It’s a little indie rock and a little neo-soul, all with an informed jazz perspective. Also featured at the event will be food trucks by Moveable Feast, locally-made crafts by SJ Made, great beer and more.
