The 1973 cult classic that indelibly intertwined the goths and science fiction nerds comes to life in downtown San Jose. Many have sung along to the movie starring Tim Curry but haven’t experienced the original staged production as it was meant to be—exuding kitschy rock ’n’ roll and the glory of liberation. The last time City Lights Theater brought the Horror in 2013, the lines were around the block. Pay What You Can Night allows community members to name their price for this live R-rated spectacle.
