It’s time for San Jose folks to break out the BBQ sauce and throw that rack of ribs on the sizzle because the Texas Headhunters are in town. The group shares the same gritty genetics as ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Three outlaw Austin musicians, Ian Moore, Johnny Moeller and Jesse Dayton spent decades in dusty salons and dank bars. Combined, they opened a door into the heart of Texas, and rock and roll. The Texas Headhunters bring that dangerous edge, where three playing as one sounds like an army. The Texas Headhunters aren’t reminiscing about days past, they’re all about making the night last.
