Bunko Wants to Counteract Your Therapy

The band Bunko consists of a gynecologist who was once the drummer for The Offspring, an anesthesiologist, an inventor and “a guy that won’t tell you what he does working for Apple.” If that isn’t enough to lure a curious crowd, the band’s guarantee that they are unforgettable “even with therapy” seals the deal. What do they actually sound like? Their latest single, “Revenge of Bunko the Clown,” is a Zappa-esque, Vandals-tinged punk rock masterpiece of satire, flaunting the band’s penchant for chilling humor, heavy guitarwork and melodic hooks so catchy even a hypnotherapist could not erase them from one’s psyche.
