Canada’s NoMeansNo have had a lot of labels slapped on them, being credited with playing and even helping to invent genres and subgenres from emo to jazz punk and hardcore. Whatever anyone wants to call their take on punk rock, they are respected elders of the scene, and drummer John Wright, who founded the group with brother Rob, isn’t done whipping audiences into a sweaty, moshing frenzy. These days he’s known as Dead Bob, and the 63-year-old is still bashing the skins as he tours America.
