Jimmy Dale Trio features the son of surf rock luminary Dick Dale. The junior Dale is carrying on the family business as he travels from town to town, bringing the fast tremolo picking and reverb-heavy sound that his father pioneered to surf fans everywhere. He and his trio will be headlining Surf Classic VIII this weekend at Art Boutiki Music Hall. The all-ages show also features LHD from Croatia, The Frigidaires, Frankie and the Pool Boys, and Dead Kampers. The fun starts at 3, so there’s time to get in a surf session first.
