Felipe Esparza was born in Mexico, and it took his large family several tries before they finally succeeded in crossing the border and settling in the Los Angeles area. As a young man, Esparza found some trouble, and he ended up spending time in drug rehab, after which he discovered stand-up comedy. Felipe’s laid-back style, outrageous stories, and his equal parts unique and relatable perspective have earned him a strong, devoted, and growing following. The dude is hilarious. He won Last Comic Standing in 2010 and has recorded four stand-up comedy specials since. On his current international tour, he’s preparing material for a fifth.
