Ron Taylor has a relaxed delivery, but the writing underneath it is tight, which lets him build from everyday irritation into something bigger without sounding like he is pushing for it. That gives his set a nice mix of ease and control. Fresh off his run as a finalist on Netflix’s Funny AF with Kevin Hart, this feels like a well-timed chance to catch somebody hitting a bigger national moment while still working a club room instead of a theater.
