No relation to the Liverpool-born former Beatles, Jesse McCartney is an American pop singer. McCartney first came to fame in the late 1990s as a television actor, portraying JR Chandler on the popular soap opera All My Children. While continuing his screen career, McCartney debuted as a recording artist with 2004’s Beautiful Soul. Four years later he scored a Billboard Top 10 hit with the single “Leavin’.” A successful songwriter as well, McCartney co-wrote Leona Lewis’ 2007 hit “Bleeding Love.” To date McCartney has released five studio albums (2021’s New Stage is his most recent) and headlined ten tours.
