Jon Anderson still carries the kind of voice that can make prog rock feel less fussy than transcendent. That has always been the trick. As the former lead singer of Yes, he helped build some of the most ambitious and genuinely beautiful music the genre ever produced, and with the Band Geeks behind him, this tour is explicitly leaning into that legacy. For anyone who is the kind of person who hears “epics, classics, and more” and immediately thinks yes, exactly, this is probably their night. Big songs, high-minded sweep, and just enough grandeur to feel earned.
