Pop sensation Kehlani got their start as a member of teen vocal act PopLyfe, though the singer left the group not long after its run on America’s Got Talent in 2011. The group folded shortly thereafter. But Kehlani went on to stardom as a solo act, releasing their debut mixtape Cloud 19 in 2014. Another mixtape the following year earned Kehlani the first of four gold records to date. Kehlani’s proper album debut, 2017’s SweetSexySavage charted in eight countries, including a No. 1 spot on the U.S. R&B chart. The singer’s fifth LP, the self-titled Kehlani was released April.
