They say that rock is dead. But whoever “they” are clearly haven’t been paying attention. Truthfully, it was probably just a market ploy devised by some rich, old person in a stuffy office. Because despite all the changes and natural evolution a genre will go through with each new generation, rock music is essentially just the blues, and the blues is eternal. And that’s something Samantha Fish understands within her soul. This two-time Grammy nominee grew up on the blues and classic rock, and her rich songwriting and shredding riffs are a clear testimony to it. She manages to capture lightning in a bottle, then gives it a shake just to see what happens.
