The Devil in California sounds like the kind of Club Fox booking that should feel a little rougher and rowdier in person than it does on a screen. Small rooms help bands like this. Whatever blend of hard rock, alt-country snarl, or general bar-band menace they are bringing, it should land better with a crowd close enough to feel the volume instead of just hearing it. With ZED and Ranchero also on the bill, this has the shape of a properly stacked local-rock night rather than a one-band stopover. Doors at 7:30 gives the whole thing room to build before the headliner takes over.
