Oakland, California’s Veotis Latchison is a vocalist, songwriter, and producer, active in music since his high school years. Veotis claims a wide array of influences from across the musical spectrum: Biggie Smalls (hip hop), James Brown (funk), and Donny Hathaway (soul). Those styles are reflected in his music. Veotis’ most recent album is 2023’s Minutiae, but he’s followed that up with a run of singles including 2024’s “Didn’t Make Pretty,” “Made for You” and his newest, the haunting and hypnotic “Spring” b/w “Speak True.” He describes his music as “an epic storytelling of a young man living life.”
