Surfer/musician Donavon Frankenreiter has teamed up with his Austin buddies, the Band of Heathens for a (joint) Rolling Together Tour. It would be as if Jack Johnson had his conjoined twin ripped from him at birth. The other half would be Frankenreiter. His music is like if The Dude directed The Endless Summer. And it might seem implausible that a Texas landlocked band like Band of Heathens could back up the positive, chill grooves of Frankenreiter, whose songs make people want to wax their board. But it’s a perfect combination of friends, talent and searching for the perfect wave.
