Active since their Chicago launch in 1975, five-time Billboard Music Award winners (and 2007 Latin Grammy awardees) Los Horóscopos de Durango have gone through a number of stylistic changes. The band began as a rock-leaning grupero ensemble, moving toward horns-meet-techno duranguense and more recently adopting a Sinaloa banda style. Today the group is led by sisters Marisol and Vicky Terrazas, daughters of Los Horóscopos de Durango founder Armando Terrazas. The group’s extensive discography includes nearly 20 albums released since 2003. The band’s anthemic 2006 single “Antes Muerta Que Sencilla” is their most well-known song and remains a popular dance club track.
