The Roots continue to bring high energy to their live shows, showcasing decades of experience as a live hip-hop band. Since the ’90s, they have been putting their own spin on hip-hop and have made several amazing records in the process. They have collaborated with artists such as Erykah Badu, Jay-Z, Musiq, Cody ChesnuTT, Mos Def and Saigon. Meanwhile Nas brings a modern example of classic rap and hip-hop to the front of his performance. Through various ups and downs, he built himself up in the New York hip-hop scene. Together, Nas and the Roots prove to be a true powerhouse for hip-hop culture.
